I love Katherine but if I named my daughter it her nickname would be Kat or maybe Kitty besides just going by Katherine. Can't stand Katie/Katy/Kate, I've known too many annoying ones. For some reason I don't mind Cate with a C though. I don't like Catherine enough to use it however.
