I quite like it. My grandfather's name was Nathan, and I was named in his honor. Apparently it's on the top 1000, but I've only met one Nathan. I don't think giving your son a name you might have used on another child would be a problem. Only if you'd named Skye Nathana / Natana / Natania instead!
