I immediately think of the rosemary bush we had in front of our house in Arizona.
Although you would think this would be a pleasant image and make the name attractive, for me it makes Rosemary as a name less appealing. I think this is because the image of the rosemary bush confuses the "feel" of the name Rosemary. On the one hand, there is rosemary the plant and herb. On the other hand, there is the fact that the name combines the classic Rose and Mary. Therefore, the name Rosemary does not have a definite "feel," but rather sends a confusing message. The name lacks clarity. I hope this makes sense.
