Ira has adapted well to his new home. He and Tyrell often read together, and have formed a very strong bond. He continues writing letters to his sister. He has also continued writing to his pen pals, and we're thinking about letting one of his pen pals from across the pond to come and stay with us for a while.
Mary is now in 1st grade, and she gets to spend more time with me. Tyrell takes her to church weekly. When Sarah writes to her, we read them out loud to her and then help her with the reply. She's having a little trouble learning how to read.
Ira and Mary get along fine. They argue a lot, but they usually get over it in a few minutes.
