I didn't know this was a real name until now. I've only seen it once before (in a book but the charater went by "Ruby") and at that time I thought it was just a trashy elaboration of Ruby. It's OK but it doesn't have very good flow to my ear and ends up sounding rather harsh. Also, it seems like it would end up shortened to "Ruby" no matter what.

BTW how is Ruby overused? I've never met one or even heard of one.
