I think Tara must be making a come-back - it's quite dated here as well. It was popular in the 70s. There are a lot of Poles in Ireland(not as many as during the boom years but still a lot - I think they are the biggest group of non-nationals). A fair amount of Russians, Latvians, Lithuanians, Ukrainians as well but a lot of Poles. It's common to see Polish goods in supermarkets in even small towns and also Polish shops are all over the place. I think it's only in the last year or two that Polish names started showing up in the top 100 baby names.
