Francoise makes me think instantly of
Francoise Gilot, the beautiful (and gutsy) woman who was "married" to Picasso - and the only one of his women to ever leave him. It is so sleek and strong and artistic without an ounce of flakiness. I love that
Francoise's children were named
Claude,
Paloma, and
Aurelia.
I like
Francoise Tullia (love the idea of dark, straight-laced
Francoise in tulle) and
Francoise Enid - it seems fitting to pair the name of a silently suffering woman with that of a warrior of self-respect.
Griselda Francoise would also be fitting that way.
