Yes, I do, kind of an involved story LOL :)
First of all they loved the name
Michael.
My dad was a high school biology teacher. The school he taught in had a very rigid social class structure among the students. One day he had a new student in his class. He misread the name
Michael as
Michelle. The kids wouldn't let up on "
Michelle", and they ended up beating him after school. He was picked on the rest of the year, and all the kids called him "
Michelle".
So, he felt bad about the incident. Some how he thought that spelling my brother's name a different way would prevent the same mistake happening to him (not that it ever would).
Ironically His name is constantly mispronounced, and on paper people have mistaken him for a girl.
