Good to know, thanks. I thought I had heard that Ralph Fiennes pronounced his name "rayf."

So would the name "rayf" be spelled Rafe in the U.K? Just curious.

I've seen Rafe as a name before, and also Raef.

Ralph Fieness does pronounce Ralph like "rayf", and I have also heard it pronounced that way by some other people. According to wikipedia, "rayf" is the traditional English pronounciation. I always thought it was a Scottish thing!
