I don't know what happened where I live but I went to school with lots of Louisas and Luisas so it always seemed boring to me. I think I know only one Louise, a Lou and a Mary Louise who goes by Lou. And lots of girls with the middle name Louise.
Aren't you surprised how Louise doesn't show any signs of a comeback? And Louisa isn't common according to statistics. I really wonder why. They fit in so well with current trends, especially Louisa.
