[Opinions] Re: Juno
in reply to a message by LETO
Although I know full well that Juno is a feminine name, whenever I see the name, I just can't stop thinking that it should be a masculine name instead (because of the -o ending). Before the film of the same name, I had trouble picturing it on a woman at all - and now, all I can think of is the film (rather than the Roman goddess), which is not a very good association (I'm probably one of the few who couldn't really stand the character Juno). As such, as you probably may have already guessed, I would never use this name myself. That said, with regard to the combos you made, I think it is better if you left off the middle names that start with a vowel. You see, it is my personal conviction that if the first name ends in a vowel, the middle name should not start with a vowel. It is easier pronunciation-wise, because otherwise - when said aloud - the two names might kind of sound as one name, instead of two fully separate names (if you see what I mean). But well, that's just me. :)Out of the combos that you mentioned, I liked Juno Lucille best. Here are a few suggestions of my own:Juno Bellatrix
Juno Briseis
Juno Lorelei
Juno Persis
Juno Salvatrix
Juno Winifred
