What is with the popularity of fenale names beginning with "Mae" or "Maely" or some such? It strikes me as American-trendy. Are they real names, or do they come from real names? I'm just curious.Loona? Is that a kre8iv spelling, or somehow legitimate?I love Arlette, I wish it wasn't hidden in the 2nd middle name spot.

Probs come from Maelle. Americans aren`t the only ones capable of out-of-control trends.

ETAThey (the French-speaking people of the world) were probably looking for an "M" name to replace Marie.
