Hmm...if it's pronounced like Karen or Sharon with an M, then it kind of reminds me of bone marrow. :/

it's just spineless...
I've noticed that about a lot of Mary variations. They just seem so weak and watery. Molly, Minnie, Miriam, marian to some extent, Maureen, Marilyn, Maren. About the only Mary variations I can think of offhand that dont' strike me as weak are Maria and Marina.

I like all of those names EXCEPT for Maria and Maren. Our opinions, they differ.
