Roland is a typical "grandpa" name here. I've known a very kind Roland, but I can't say I'm that fond of the name.
Rollo is a kind of fudge here.

Sorry! Supposed to be under OP.Roland is has a very "round" sound to me. I tend to think of it as a contraction of "roll around." I know that's horrible, but it's true.And the only association I have with Rollo is that it's the name of a character on Vikings and he's a character with a lot of "is he bad or is he good" debate, but I'm pretty sure he's bad. So I'm not feeling it.
I don't know if Rollo is in actual Norse mythology like Ragnar and some of the other characters are.
Otherwise, it makes me think of The Hunchback of Notre-Dame because it sounds like Frollo.
