Never have cared for
Shelby sound-wise and can't say that it feels fitting with
Alyssa, for me, but congrats on the new addition! Both names are spelled correctly and easily pronounced, and neither are cringe-worthy. No real complaints, actually.
The sound of
Alyssa is nice; I knew a nice girl by the name. I do prefer
Elissa, though, for sound and feel (I pronounce the short "e" sound, not "uh").
Elissa feels much warmer to me.
