Susannah is such a stunnah. Seriously though, even though it's not in my top ten names, I love
Susannah and would seriously consider using it. It's strong, timeless, beautiful and feminine. It doesn't impose an image on the bearer - they could be a straight-laced office
Sue, or, really, rather a tomboyish
Sue, a girly, lacey
Susie or a strong, independant
Susannah. It's so wearable and adaptable and yet timelessly lovely, and I love that about it. Also, I like to see
Susannah rather than
Susanna. Both are pretty, but I think that -h rounds it off.
Gwendolyn is pretty, but I prefer
Gwendolen. And I can't back down on that one. I just think -en seems more feminine.
Frances and
Marion are both cool.
I like
Alastair because it feels morbid, creepy and sinister. In person, it seems to fall flat, because it sounds witchy and mysterious and most Alastairs are pretty normal people.
I like
Charles and
Edward and I rather love
Henry "
Harry" because that's so traditional. But I really do like
Gideon on other people, and I really, really, really
love Jasper. I think it's fantastic.
So all in all, great choices!
