Yes - I just reviewed the BtN definitive texts for
Kimberly &
Kim. It seems
Kim is more commonly associated with males, which I've always felt anyway, and perhaps not only through the other formal version
Joachim, as well as the short version of
Kimberly, but also the through widespread use among Asian cultures - and the more recent use for
Kim with males than that of
Barbara,
Linda,
Susan, and
Dorothy - etcetera just a few years prior.
