Most of those names are English
Fraser - I quite like it, in an understated kind of way
Graham - I really hate Graham, it's such an old grandpa with biscuit crumbs on his cardy kind of name
Colum - Not keen on Colum, but I do like Columba (I was at school with twin brothers called Kentigern & Columba)
Hamish - Love Hamish
Murtagh - Dislike. I always thought Murtagh was the Irish version and Murdo (which I quite like) the Scottish
Alec - Nice, especially as a shortening of Alexander
Dougal - Meh
MacKenzie - A big no to the whole surname thingOther Scottish names I like: Blair (very much male only in Scotland), Ninian & Ringan, Fergus and Roryhttp://www.behindthename.com/pnl/167578
