i live near one of the hotels (i think maybe the original one? or one of the oldest? idk i know its famous though), and the district of my city that is named after it. i also lived in NYC, and it reminds me of the Astoria over there too.

i don't mind places as names, though. it can add special meaning for a person. i like how regal Astoria sounds, in a way that would fit perfectly in a fantasy series.
