I prefer Daria, but I think it's too close to the word "diarrhea", so if I had to use one, it would be Dara.

Yes, exactly.

And it's a shame, really, because Daria is quite pretty. I know a woman who was called "Leah, Leah, diarrhea" so I can imagine what someone named Daria would put up with. The name is just so similar in sound to diarrhea, unfortunately.

In fact, it's one letter off from the way nine-year-old me spelled "diarrhea" (diaria). lol
