I guess you're pronouncing it EZ-yo? It reminds me more of Enzo than of Ezra. Italian nicknames for American babies trend. Ezra's loudly biblical, Jett and Finn are modern style, to me.
Ezio seems alright to me. I don't remember ever seeing it before.
Unfortunately I agree with Rox that Americans would tend to pronounce it Easy-o. Which reminds me of rap name Eazy-E. Not that that matters - but I did think of it before I even opened your message.

I once heard ...
A Groucho Marx bit where he had Ezio Pinza (who I think was in "South Pacific") on the show, and Groucho mispronounced Pinza's name. Pinza, in a heavy accent, corrected him, pronouncing his first and last names, spelling them both, and repeating them again. Groucho paused for a bit and then said "So tell me, Tom ...."
