It gives me the same vibe. I knew of the name Heather before I knew about the plant. Heathers on TV when I was a kid were usually that blonde cheerleader type. I don't think I knew any Heathers my own age. I think I was born just a bit after the boom.
Oh wait, I do know one. She's kind of awful. She doesn't fit the stereotype physically but she is carelessly rude, which a lot of those types were on TV in the 90s.
I don't like the name, but it's a good bit nicer than Tiffany or Brittany. I happen to love Stephanie.
