I would possibly do it if my name was a family name because then it would be just passing on a tradition.
I wouldn't do it personally though because my name isn't a family name and it has no significance. I don't even like it or go by it. Even my parents don't like it and they chose it. I would name my children something unrelated and that had something important and meaningful about it so they liked their name rather than tolerated it.
