Sounds cold, and vaguely aggressive. WINTER IS COMING
Also I get a brittle feeling from the sound of it, like the word splinter.
In real life I think it would come off more like a surname name, like Hunter or Piper, than like a nature name, the way Summer does.
Usable, but I don't like it.
A shade better if spelled Wynter because if it's surnamey, it's more namey in general and doesn't evoke harsh weather.
