I dislike the way it sounds in English. In French it's es-MEH (with a long EH sounds) which is pretty to me, but ez-MAY sounds odd.

Also, it should be Esmée for a girl, which looks much prettier, in my opinion.

Esmé still feels Twilight to me and I didn't like her character.
