They don't work for me at all. Heath ... I don't much go for lnfns, and Heath was the ln of the most incompetent teacher I ever had. I do like Heather for a girl, though - one of the very few flower names I do like.
Bonnie was the name we chose for our first Scottie. Bonnie Scotland. She was a very pretty puppy, but she had quite a personality and a sense of humour, so we found ourselves changing the name to Bonzo. The only human Bonnie I've ever known is the stepdaughter of my ex-brother-in-law: in her case it is a nn for Bronwen, which I like much better.
