I'm conflicted! It's all masculine to me, but as far as the meaning goes, I much prefer Eve.
Not a related meaning or etymology, but I knew a Greek girl named Vasiliki who was always called Vessie. Which further complicates my strong sense that Vesper should be a male name, Vessie being the obvious nn.
