I had to go out of town so I couldn't respond. I don't know if anyone will see this as it's so far down on the page now.
Appolinaire is the name of a zoologist I saw on tv. I thought it was regal and very cool.
Savio I found in the database. I tend to like names with V's and that's what made me think of Vesuvuius. I think has great sounds. I'm not sure that I would use it for one of my kids, maybe a character, but I think it's interesting.
also I am aware that Vesuvius was the volcano that destroyed the ancient cities of Pompeii and Herculaneum. but it's not like Vesuvius was an evil force, it was a natural one. it was just doing what volcanoes do - blow up. I find volcanoes fascinating. I had a professor that told me one of the ancient meanings of the word sublime was something so beautiful that it was frightening, or something so frightening that it was beautiful. I think volcanoes are sublime.
p.s I'm still working on combos for these three. I agree that they need something more subdued to work.
