[Opinions] My first reaction

is that the name has turned into a sort of joke. If I don't associate it first with Children of the Corn-type religious communities, I think of the show The Simpsons and the founder of their city: Jebediah Obadiah Zachariah Jedediah Springfield. Not that everyone's into The Simpsons, but the humorous aspect of stringing together a bunch of long 'iah' names isn't exclusive to one show. I'm having a hard time coming up with a decent explanation for how I think of it, but that'll have to do. It's a bit of a joke for me. Jeremiah, Zachariah, and probably others escape that sort of fate in my mind because they are, I'm under the impression, much more common. They sound "normal" and more familiar; other -iahs strike me as being kind of goofy.*shrug*
