I agree, it is masculine.
To me, Vivian is unambiguously masculine and Vivien(ne) feminine, just like Adrian / Adrienne.
I like it. I don't think it's a big concern that some people will think it is a girlname, because it is similar enough to other male names that people can adjust to it as a male name quite easily.
