[Games] Re: You Say/You think.. my families names.. please play!
in reply to a message by Caroline
This is my daughter Caroline (no nn):
Say: That's my dance teachers name
Think: unfortunately she gets right on my last nerve. Completely spoils the name for me.
This is my daughter Elizabeth (Liz):
Say: Hi Liz
Think: Right, so she's Elizabeth number 46.
This is my daughter Julia Genevieve (Genevieve):
Say: Oh how pretty!
Think: Why don't they just call her Julia? It's much prettier than Genevieve. Butt they are both nice original names.
This is my daughter Rebecca Grace (no nickname):
Say: Nice to meet you, Rebecca.
Think: I hope she's extremly talented at something, else she'll just blend in with all the other Beccas, Beckys, Rebekahs in her school. But it is spelt nicely and Rebecca Grace makes a sweet combo.
This is my daughter Margaretta Katherine (Maggie):
Say: Wow, i've never met a Margaretta before. Is it a family name?
Think: That's a very old name for such a little girl. BUt then she should have grown into it by the time she's 55. Margaretta reminds me of that cocktail, the Margarita. Maggie suits her age better, but it does remind me of the Simpsons a little. NIce comco though.
This is my daughter Susannah Frances (no nickname):
Say: That's my cousins name, I've always liked it.
Think: My little brother still goes round yelling 'sing Hosanna' at the top of his lungs whenever we say her name. Frances is my mum's mn, bit old-fashioned for me, but not bad. NIce combo.
