[Facts] pronunciation
How do you correctly pronounce the name Kaia? I'm pretty sure its of Greek origin meaning "earth".

Greek origin maybe, but then it's a kreativ spelling. Here in South (and southern) Africa it is pronounced Kigh-a all right, but it means a little house - specifically an outhouse on a farm or up a mountain trail, with a lavatory in it. One to avoid, I think. (Slang for any lavatory used to be PK, which was short for Picannini Kaia = tiny little house and was used exactly like the more ubiquitous loo.
LOL, Anneza :)
Picannini Kaia is a name I will be henceforth recommending to spamming mothers-to-be :)

Yeah, go for it! Used to get shortened quite neatly too - Excuse me, I'm just off to the PK! Nice for those who call their sweet offspring by their initials ...
I believe it's pronounced similarly to the Greek goddess/mother earth GAIA (Pavlos would be more familiar with the Greek word for earth, but I believe it's Gaia, not KAIA, but I'm sure he'd correct me if I am.) The way I explain the pronunciation of Gaia is by splitting it into its syllables (GUY-ah) so Kaia I'm sure is just a different beginning consonant sound.
Phyllis (aka Sidhe Uaine or Gaia Euphoria)

The letter "gamma" (Greek G) has a much softer more vowelish pronounciation than G ; Gaia is actually pronounced "Yeah" :)
I would pronounce it KIGH-yah
Kaya?
