Munda possibly means "remembered" from the Old Norse 'munda' although it may be a Latinized form, 'munda', of the Germanic word 'mund' meaning "protection".
I'm sorry but I can't find the etymology of the name Vinandr but the English town of Windermere means "Vinandr's lake" but I don't suppose that helps does it?
