Irish names? Mary and Michael (or Micheal) are both nice.
Seriously, I speak from personal experience when I tell you what a pain in the rear it can be to have a name that defies pronunciation, all or in part. When yer 40 it's not a big deal (and you may actually get to like it), but it can be a real trial for a kid.
Do what you want, but just try to be merciful when it comes to spelling. Them playgrounds is hell these days.
