Twins! You read right, TWINS! A boy and a girl weighing 5 lbs, 7 oz each! Both are 18.5 in long and have their mother's nose and their father's eyes. They are named for special people in your life.

DD/DS: Theodora Audrey Cruz “Theo” & Kai Alexander Dominic
Theodora’s fn is honouring Greek heritage in my family, Audrey is after the timeless actress Audrey Hepburn and my great Aunt, while Cruz is meaningful of our religion (it means cross). We have come to call her Theo.
Kai’s name means “ocean” and we are very connected to the sea. Alexander is after James’s father and Dominic is after a family friend that had a very tragic death earlier this year.
Lena was absolutely wonderful with them. She always wants to be near them but she is careful not to hurt them. There were no problems whatsoever and we are so happy they are with us.

Luke & I are proud to announce that we are the proud parents of twins...a bouncing baby boy & a beautiful baby girl! Both our son & our daughter came into the world on March 13th, weighing 5 pounds, 7 ounces; 18 1/2 inches long. They look a lot alike with mommy's nose & daddy's eyes. Jude Hamilton Luis was born first at 5:09 PM. He is named for three special people in our lives: Jude is his uncle's middle name (Luke's brother), Hamilton was chosen for my mom who always wanted to use the name as a middle name but was never able to, & Luis is for my grandfather. We then welcomed Josephine Monica Lily at 5:34 PM. Her name was also chosen to honor three special people: Josephine is for my uncle Joe, Monica is for a close family friend, & Lily is for my mother Iris (we wanted a different flower name).
Jude & Josephine are absolutely adorable little angels, and are loved dearly by their older sister Janna. She was on cloud nine the first time she held them in the hospital and loves to show them off to whoever comes to visit. She loves holding them, although we often have to remind her that they're not her babies, and she has to be careful to keep the blanket below their faces. She has especially taken to Josephine; I think that may be because she wanted a little sister so badly. Janna it seems has unofficially nicknamed her little sister Jo & Josey, which we're okay with; I think we'll let Josephine decide when she gets older which name she wants to go by. She can't wait for the twins to get older so they can play together. We're thrilled that there seems to be no signs of sibling rivalry or jealousy. We were a little worried because she is such a mommy's girl, but so far, so good.

Noble was named after my mothers surname and his two grandfathers. Olive was named after my great-grandmothers.
2. How did their older sis react?
Arabella love both of them especially Noble who she proudly announces everytime we bring him into the room as her "Bruvva"
3. Any problems? Nope
4. Were they full term? No they were slighly early (hence the small size compared to Ari)

1. Coleman Augustus (after his maternal and paternal grandfather) & Gloria Eileen (after her maternal great-grandmother and grandmother)
2. Bethan, at age 3, was excited about the twins, until she realized how much attention they got from her parents and those around her. At first she threw tantrums when she didn't get her way, but she has finally decided that she likes the twins. We try to put the twins to bed early so we can spend an hour or two doing whatever Bethan wants to do.

Jakob, Aviva and Sydney are excited to announce the birth of Charles Samuel and Norah-Jane Anneva. Charlie is named after Aviva's dad, Samuel is Jakob's brother's name. Norah and Jane are both derived from the grandmother's names. Anneva is a combonation of Aviva and her best friend Anna. Sydney is doing pretty well. She wants to be in the middle of everything, and gets a little jelous when mom holds a baby. She calls them "Car-ee" and "Noahjay". They only came a week early and are doing great!

Any problems? Other than horrible morning sickness, none whatsoever
Were they full term? They were a month premature and needed to stay for a few nights for observation, but they're back home now and in perfect health.

Chris and I, along with big sister Sam, now 14 months, would like to announce the birth of our twins, Lynna Isabelle and Jake Christopher. Their names we chosen after a the family tradition of Lynn on my side and Isabelle after my sister. Jake comes from my brother and he adorns his father names as his middle name. The babies were born 2 weeks early, which was pretty good considering their weight. Because they were twins we decided to give birth at home this time, since their weights were fine. The only problem during the delivery was that Jake was breech, but he did alright. Sam was very excited to witness the arrival of her brother and sister and seems to be doing okay adjusting to two new babies. It will be great watching all three interact with each other when they get older as they are all very close in age.
