[Opinions] Re: Greta and Ingrid...

Greta
Greta is my favourite name for a girl & quite possibly my future daughter's name. Most definitely Greta can stand on its own. I also think it is very suitable for a young girl or an older woman.
Ingrid
I adore Ingrid. It's strong & classy. I went to school with a very sweet girl named Ingrid Louise so personally I can picture it on a younger person. Of course it will age well.
Both Greta & Ingrid make me think of elegance & grace. I think of Greta Garbo & Ingrid Bergman. I think Greta & Ingrid would make a gorgeous sibset. Evadne seems very current & trendy to me so I wouldn't pair it with timeless names like Greta & Ingrid personally.

No I don't know any Evadne's personally, but I have been seeing it often on the boards lately. I don't think Greta & Evadne or Ingrid & Evadne are distasteful at all. I just wouldn't pair them together. It's a personal preference. I think it's very tasteful to use mythological names. My favourite is Alethea. I also like Ariadne.
You're welcome Jeziana :o)
