Whatever. Same thing.
Same thing?
"cow" represents one single syllable, with a diphthong: the first sound is AH and the second is the semivowel correspondent to OO. This sound is spelled in a lot of languages as au, as in Laura.
In IPA your guess is [kawri].
"kah-oh" represents two syllables: the first with the sound AH and the second with the vowel OH.
In IPA this is [kaori]. Very different.
You don't distinguish these two different sounds ("Whatever. Same thing.", your words), but that is your problem because in a lot of languages the difference between them is distinctive and it is important.
Again: if you don't know the right answer, don't reply.

I not a foreigner OK. I honestly can't be bothered with YOU.
You have not any knowledge of phonetics.
Yes I do. I understand how you are SUPPOSED to pronounce Kaori. However, I don't just casually go and say kah-oh-ree.

Not the same thing. Kao sounds a little similar to cow, but it is not the same. Kaori is three syllables. Cow-ree is two syllables.
I say KOW-REE. I know it's meant to be kaori, but because I OWN THIS WORLD, it's KOWREE. Get the message.
Your pronunciation is not relevant since it is not the actual pronunciation.
Exactly
Kah-oh-ree ("a" as in "after" and "o" is not as in "over", but rather as in "more" I think :)
In my American accent, I would also say kah-oh-ree, "ah" of "father" and "oh" of "hope." No particular stress on any syllable, and the Japanese "r" is similar to the "d" in "teddy."
