[Opinions] Taquila
I met a woman today who named her kids Erin/Aaron and Tequila. Although I am not sure what genders they are, hence the backslash between the two names. The first names aren't so bad, it's the Tequila that gets me. WDYT? I have a feeling there will be an overwhelming amount of people that don't like it, but I do remember someone on this board that liked the name Chardonnai. Maybe she could have kids named Chardonnai and Tequila...incase she ever wanted a themed sibset? ;o)

Tequila has been found regularly in the African-American community (and occasionally in other ethnic groups) for over a generation now.
I don't like alcholic beverage names myself. But Sherry and Brandy have both been extremely well-used, and that gives parents the idea that Tequila, Chardonnay, Alize, Daiquiri, and other names of alchoholic beverages which sound euphonious are appropriate children's names. I have a student right now who has a young daughter named Alize. He thought it sounded beautiful and like a girl's name. Tequila certainly has the sound and form of what people are used to in a female name, also, and so many parents have decided it's a pretty name for a girl.

Maybe that's the liquor she was concieved on? =P Geez, I hope not.
I feel bad for the one named Tequila. A bit worse if it's a girl, somehow.
Imagine the high school years: "I'mma get me some TEQUILA!" ;D
