[Opinions] Amarante
I used to love this name four or five years ago, and now it's back. Wdyt? ama-rahn-ta is how I pronounce it, let me know if I'm correct.
What would you pair it with? Any suggestions for brothers?

Amarante is lovely. I've been attracted to it too. My only hesitation is I'm not quite sure whether the authentic spelling is Amarante or Amaranthe? And Pronuciation is still a bit of a hurdle for me. I don't know whether it's Sanskrit, Greek, French.
I really want to use this name, but my ignorance holds me back. Any information that you have would be very much appreciated.
As for combinations / siblings, how about:

Thanks. :-)
Lacking restraint, I often type before I do my own research. I was able to use the link to BtN's info. It makes perfect sense that it's a Greek name with the "-anthos" root in there.
Glad you liked those girl combos. Now that you mention the name, Amarante and Pavlos look pretty dashing together as siblings. Yes?

Yes, but I can imagine my SO's response if I brought it up.
He'd ask if I was doing crack again. :-D
