"That Summer" by Sarah Dessen? Because the main character in that book is a girl named Haven. She has to correct people who think her name is Heaven. :)

lmao
So do I.
I remember humiliating myself in class once. I was using Elizabeth, and my professor was taking role-call. I wasn't paying attention, and she asks for Elizabeth. I raise my hand. She then asks for heaven. I raise my hand again.
Needless to say I turned bright red, had to explain the situation, and everyone got a good laugh.

I've done that, well not using another name. Someone called for Serena and I raised my hand, LOL. Also, I was always the only Sabrina in my classes except for one time and well the other Sabrina's LN is before mine so when they called her we both raised our hands and looked at eachother like "what the...". LOL. I felt so embarrased.
I honestly don't see how someone get's Haven from Heaven they sound completely different, IMO.

maybe...
Because they're one letter apart, they rhyme if said correctly, and Heaven is more recognizable than Haven.
Honestly: People don't get heaven from saying my name, but from reading it. And because they're not familiar with it, they're going to call me everything under the sun before they get it. It's gotten much better, but I still get a lot of mistakes. Then again, I haven't really used the name for quite some time.
