I prefer the spelling Tessie, personally. Probably due to the fact that I am a diehard Red Sox fan. Anyway...
Tessy Samantha is a cute combo. However; I do think Tessy on its own is a bit childish. But then, she could always just use Tess when she got older.

Yeah, I've toyed with Tess nickname Tessy...but Tessy just sounds so wonderful right now.
