I immediately think of Tessie in Shirley Jackson's short story "The Lottery," and anyone who's read that will know why it makes me go woefaced. DDD:

Oh noes! Damn those unfortunate associations. :( It's the main reason why I don't love Jessica. I should like it, but the mental images I get when I hear/read/say the name put me off it.
