[Opinions] Re: Idris and Aeolus
Idris - I actually really like this name, and gave it to a character in my Harry Potter fan fic lol I'd consider it irl because it's not super unusual, just more old-timey if anything. The only Idris's I've met are really old men, though one of my friend's in England said he has a cousin with this name. I think it's cool, and I don't think of "Iris" at all. It's attractive.Aeolus - Reminds me big-time of the tv show Hercules because I used to watch it all the time! I like the name a lot - it's fun to say - and my best friend, who is Greek, says she's met people in Greece with this name so it's still used somewhere! I think though that outside of Greece, a more anglicised spelling might be necessary if you want people to pronounce it right :/ In summary, lol, I like them both!
