[Facts] Re: Angria
in reply to a message by Cyndi
What sort of a book? Fiction or nonfiction? Who was the author? What language was it originally written in? The best known use of this name is for an imaginary country that the famous English novelists the Bronte sisters (and their brother) invented when they were children. If the book you read was fiction, perhaps the author got the name from reading biographies of the Brontes. http://www.curledup.com/angriacb.htm

The book was "postmarked the Stars" by Andre Norton. It's science fiction and was written in english. As the author was a librarian I wouldn't be surprised if she'd read Bronte. I just wondered about the name. Most that she uses are "real" names.
