[Games] Britto08's New Year's Compromise Congrats Round 3
Twin round! It’s been two years, and your couple has had twins! After naming them, tell how your couple is dealing with having both a toddler and two newborns. How do the older siblings like having two new babies all at once? Also, your oldest child has started school within the last year. What type of school did you choose to send them to? How do they like it? What subject do they like best?Rules
1. You keep up with ages.
2. If you miss a round, you do not have to make it up, but you will not get a baby the round you missed. You'll pick up with the round after and have fewer children than those who didn't miss.
3. If you decide to go with a name theme, let me know and explain it if it isn't obvious.
4. Have fun!

So, darling Paul, another daughter and son. I would love to use Lily as our daughter's first name. For our son, what about Quinn, Lucas, or Wynne for a middle name? I'm not sure about a first name for him, but I love those as middle names.
vote up1
I want to use Lily too. What do you think about Lily Margaret. We talked about it when we had Ari and I still love that combo. I think it's your turn to choose a middle name and I like all three names. Quinn and Lucas are my favorites.
As for a first name what about:Jasper
Solomon
Thomas
Graham
Alexander nn Alec
Adrian
Finn (nn for Finnegan or Finnian?)
Julian or Julius
Armand
Elias
George
DominicPlease add your own favorites.

I LOVE Lily Margaret. And for our boy I think Thomas Quinn and Dominic Quinn are great names that go really well with our last name. Which do you like better?
vote up1
Thomas Quinn and Lily Margaret! I love the names and the combos! I think we are handling it pretty well having both a toddler and the newborn twins but I'm glad we have our families close by to help us out. Ari adores her new siblings but I think Henry has had some difficulties accepting them. Now he's not the baby anymore. I will let you brag about Ari and how she is doing in school.
vote up1
I agree with you about Henry. He's been a bit clingier since Lily and Thomas came, and is wanting to be held like a baby more and more.Ari loves school! Her favorite subject is reading, but music follows a close second. I think she likes being around more children her own age. She loves Henry and the twins, but I think she was getting bored playing with them all the time. She has a lot of friends and her teachers all think she is wonderful. I'm glad she took so well to it, don't you?

I think we should sent Bea to a public school. Do you want to stay home with Juliet and the twins?

Public school is a good idea. I'd like to stay home with them, at least till Juliet's in school.

Bea's favorite subject is reading, she also quite likes math. Bea loves going to school because she finds it fun and she enjoys spending quality time with kids her own age (not that she doesn't love Julie, Peter, and Fi)

Of the new suggestions, I like Charlotte, Jane, Isabel and Marianne.I would really like to use Arthur this round for the boy, in some combination or another...Other names to consider: (I don't remember if I've mentioned any of these in previous discussions, but if I have just ignore them.)
Atticus, Bram, Conrad, David, Fletcher, Hector, Isaac, Isaiah, Jacob, Judah, Laurence, Lennox, Nicholas, Noah, Phillip, Reuben, Roald, Sebastian, Zachariah
Adelaide, April, Augusta, Lucy, Clara, Clare (or Claire), Diana, Edith, Elizabeth, Frances (as a mn), Isadora, Justyna, Margaret, Olive, Phillipa, WInnifred, Zora. So, more elimination then combos if you have nothing more to add first?ETA:
Also, we're doing pretty well on a children's literature theme, with Alice in Wonderland and CHronicles of Narnia. Did you want to continue with this or not?

I like Adelaide, Lucy, Clara, Clare, Elizabeth, David, Fletcher, Jacob, Noah and Nicholas.
I'm happy to use Arthur for our son. Maybe Arthur Christopher?
I'll leave it upto you if you want to use the theme, however it would limit us in our naming dear.
vote up1
With the twins name do you want to use reverse initials or anything?
Also I don't think we should use another J name as a middle name. Otherwise we'll end up feeling like we have to carry on that theme. Do you agree dearest Alec?
vote up1
You have a good point my love. I'm not sure I'd be happy with matchy twin names, or a theme, so I think we'll leave it be for the minute. Our namebanks
Boys: David, Fletcher, Jacob, Noah, Nicholas, Christopher, Theodore, Arthur, Dominic, Thomas, Raymond, Robert, JonathanGirls: Adelaide, Lucy, Clara, Clare, Elizabeth, Charlotte, Jane, Isabel, Marianne, Lydia, Annabelle, Eleanor, Juliet, Rosalie/ Rose.I'm not really happy with the flow of Arthur Christopher. Perhaps Arthur Thomas or Arthur Robert?
I would make with the combo-ing, but I really must go if I won't be late for work.ETA: finished work! Some combos:Girls: Eleanor Rose, Jane Charlotte, Rosalie Elizabeth, Lucy Elizabeth, Lydia Clare, Jane Marianne, Marianne Rose

How are ALice and Edmund dealing with the twins?
vote up1
I'd prefer if it wasn't a religious school dear, I don't have anything against religion I just believe its better to allow children to decide on their own what they believe in. Are we sending alice to an all girl school or mixed?
vote up1
Well, what do you think of the Bold Park Community school? http://www.privateschoolsdirectory.com.au/school.php?school=6385
If you don't like that one, how about you have a browse through the site and see what other schools look like they'd do Alice well.I think we'll probably send her to a mixed school, at least until high school. How does that sound to you?
vote up1
Bold Park Community looks like a great school for our children. Alice's favourite subject is English but she's doing great in all her subjects and is making loads of friends and loving every minute of school. We've also just put edmund into a playschool.

Twin boys, my dearest Max. What do you suggest for first names. My favorites from our list are Gabriel, Samuel, Jasper, Issac, and Noah. WDYT?
vote up1
Right now I like these the best: Arthur, Isaac, Felix, Oliver, NoahSo I'd say we go with Noah for one of the boys? I don't really like the Issac spelling. Out of your other suggestions I like Jasper the best...
vote up1
I keep mistyping that name! I don't like the double S spelling either. Noah Arthur for our first boy? And what do you think of Jasper Isaac for the second one?
vote up1
Noah Arthur is great.
I like both Jasper Isaac and Isaac Jasper..pick the one you like the most. :) How do the older siblings like having two new babies all at once? Also, your oldest child has started school within the last year. What type of school did you choose to send them to? How do they like it? What subject do they like best?I think Thea really like to have two baby brothers, but I think she would have liked to have a sister too, don't you think? I can't believe that Thea is five already, and that Benjamin is 2!
I can't really remember what school we sent Thea to. I know where to pick her up, but that's about it! Do you remember?
vote up1
I like Jasper Isaac better. Noah and Jasper are both great babies, and I think Jasper is the calmer of the two. I think Thea would have really liked a sister, but I know she loves the boys. We sent Thea to the elementary school in the district I work for, dear. It's a very good school, and she loves it. She likes her art class best, but she also likes music and science. I can't believe how fast she's growing up, and Benjamin too!

Ack! Decisions! I like too many of them. Let's see if we can eliminate any of them. I'm going to veto Lena Anneliese and Lucas Joel. I like Lucas Nathaniel better, and Lena Anneliese kind of sounds tongue-twister-ish, even though Lena and Nora are my fav first names. Your turn :)Dawson Malachi
Lucas Nathaniel
Elias Sebastian
Carter Lane
Carter JoelAnneliese Nora
Anneliese Sage

Okayy. I eliminate..Elias Sebastian
Annelise Nora

They are just a mouthful and imagine a little kindergartener having to write that long name.I think my favorite is Lena Sage, WDYT?

Lena Sage is lovely (and much easier than the others!). Let's go with it for the girl. For the boy, I'm debating between Carter Joel and Lucas Nathaniel. I'm not really a Dawson fan. Which do you prefer?

Carter Joel is so cute. I think it gets my vote. But I like both.
