A neighbouring settlement has decided to invade your country. It is in this time of unrest that the Queen is discovered pregnant once again. How does the nation react to the war? How will the child be brought up with danger constantly behind every turn and curve?

To the east there are several mountains, their summits not so high, but not so low. To the west there is a beautiful ocean, the water clear and blue, the sand white and cool. From the north runs a river, long and magestic. The people of Reka often turn to this river for water. South of everything else is a desert. The desert is the least pleasant thing in the land. In the desert live the Nixphanlets. Some of the Nixes accept Reka as the land of the Rekans and choose to become Japeleniks, Japos. Japos participate in society like any Rekan, but they don't worship g-d in the same way.
In Reka, there are three major cities. Hakitivel sits on the beaches of the north. Many small villages use this port town as their market. They sell, trade, and buy goods here. Hakitivel is a very busy town and Japos often live here, because this is where the most accepting people are to be found. The other two cities of Reka are Old City, Eeryeshana, and New Place, Makomchadash. The reason Eer is often called Old City is because it is the old capital and Mako is the new one. Eer, in the middle of the land, is where the royals reside. The most loyal of their subjects live there, too. Mako is much more modern. Many newcomers (minus Japos) live here. They are called Makans because they have never been to any of the other cities, most likely, and they think this is all there is to Reka, but the real locals know it's not. Mako is the most liveliest city in Reka.
Everyone in Reka is very friendly, always ready to give a hand, and everyone is like a family, always listening, but never fighting. All the students graduate with honors and have at least one major talent, usually more. Even though the few sentences in this paragraph that lead up to this one, make Reka seem like a great place, it is not all that peaceful. The Nixes constantly harass the Rekans and other residents of Reka and have even resorted to killing them when they are careless and on the wrong side of the border. Even still, the people of Reka are not afraid, for it is of the Rekan nature to not fear anything, as a wise Rekan once said "A Rekan is never afraid, but a Rekan also knows when to back down."

He just learned the King Kyler and Queen Keelin have been married and several children. Jonori was once madly in love with Keelin, but when she refused to marry him and bare him children. Surprisingly, King Kyler and Queen Keelin have had another child, Prince Keiran James Loris. Jonori is supposed to converse with The King today at around six PM, but it has been heard that he may try to kill him and start war. He will be sent with many guards. Make sure to pay attention to all media for information on when to hide. We will have shelters if needed.

Several towns were looted and destroyed, and King Thelonius couldn't stand for having his people abused in such a manner, let alone having the attacks spread further into his realm. He bade his family goodbye and led an army north.
Magda and Lucian were fascinated by the idea of their father riding into battle, begging to be allowed to go with and, when finally left behind, spending all their days enacting heroic skirmishes with a pair of wooden swords they'd fashioned for themselves. The tutors were usually cast by the twins in the role of the enemies to be conquered and could often be found being chased through the halls of castle Carimonde. Not even Damaris was able to make the little warriors sit still for more than an hour at a time and finally conceded to hiring combat trainers for her two eldest.
That wasn't the only issue with which the queen was faced; soon after Thelonius left, she discovered that she was pregnant again. Not wanting to worry her husband, she resolved herself not to tell him, instead continuing to manage the country's affairs in his absence. Cornelius was a great help to her, content to sit by her side while she held court. The blue eyed prince was already practically a statesman by the time his father returned victorious in the summer.
Isadora Ginevra Lucretia Helen Elodie was the best welcoming gift Thelonius could've asked for from his beloved wife. Between Damaris, his four beautiful children, and a kingdom at peace, the king was feeling like a very blessed man.

King Arsene was worried about his family and wished to relocate them to a safer settlement, but both the Queen and the children opposed his idea, especially the Crown Prince Arthur, who was determined to stay with his father.
