It's pronounced "yah-EHL", some even spell the name how you've typed it: Ya'el. I think it can also be spelled Yaël. It's the Hebrew phonetic form of Jael.
I like the look of Yael Imogen! That looks very regal, IMO.
I suppose I could use another name from history as the MN. Yael is a historical name, being the name of a heroine in the Book of Judges.
I'll have to think about those other historical figures that I like enough to bestow their names on my children.
