I like Susan. To me it's one of those 'friendly' names, I just can't picture a mean or arrogant Susan, lol. However, I wouldn't use it on a baby these days.

What about the late Susan Atkins? She was kind of mean.

Good point, now that I've looked her up. Since I don't live in the US (and was born in '87) she did not contribute to my image of the name but I agree that she makes a horrible namesake.

Actually, I do associate the name with her and it does tarnish it for me. But objectively, I think it's a nice enough name, so that's how I answered.
