I adore it! I do slightly prefer Hera because it seems less self-absorbed, if that makes sense. I view Hero as more masc., Hera more fem. That said, Hero is just plain awesome on either gender:)Out of your combos, I particularly like:

Hero Helene - I'm currently in an Alliteration phase, and any 'h' name paired with Hero would be awesome. Hero Henrietta, Hero Hermione, Hero Hannelore, Hero Hedwig, Hero Hazel, Hero Hecate, Hero Helga . . . .
