Anyway, I think its kinda of cool. KIR-stin is how I'd pronunce it. I had a great-great grandmother named it. (She was the "witch," actually) Kirstie is okay as a nickname, though it has been forever ruined by the ever-obnoxious, smackable Kirsty Alley.
